- Lawyers (advocaten) are sworn in and registered with the Netherlands Bar. They handle your case, negotiate with the other party or the insurer, and appear before every court.
- Legal advisers (juristen) are legally trained. They prepare your file, collect documents and keep you informed, always together with the lawyer in charge.
- NIVRE-registered experts are certified loss adjusters. In personal injury cases they map out your losses and substantiate the calculation towards the insurer.
